Armand leads Internal Communications & Culture at BT Group, helping colleagues feel connected to our strategy, our leaders and each other. His work focuses on making BT a simpler, more unified and more energised place to work — where culture, behaviours and clear communication make it easier for teams to deliver great outcomes.

He joined BT Group in 2022 and has worked across Digital and Culture & Strategy, supporting major transformation programmes and the organisation’s cultural reset.

Before BT, Armand spent nearly two decades at Brands2Life, where he helped build one of the UK’s leading tech communications practices, working across corporate, digital, social and crisis programmes.

An immigrant to the UK, he brings a blend of perspective, empathy, curiosity and the occasional terrible pun. Outside of work he loves his family, burgers, sci-fi and progressive ideas — all of which continue to shape the way he approaches change, culture and communication.

q&a

Why did you sign up to be a judge for The Pros Awards 2026?

To try to help advocate for and amplify the efforts of the diverse community within comms today, supporting their leadership development and progression, and to encourage others to aspire for similar heights in the future. We need to be more diverse to serve the needs of our audiences. And to help out Elizabeth, who I find to be an inspiration.

What Insta/LinkedIn/Tik Tok account should every comms pro follow and why?

Last year I recommended a science creator on TikTok, so this year I’m going to send you to an AI inspiration on LinkedIn – Ethan Mollick, who is both generous and inspiring with his shares of AI possibility on LinkedIn.

What was your favourite PR/comms campaign from 2025 and why?

I’m caught between ‘Superman @ the Shard’ and ‘Lewis Cap-Aldi’ – the former because it genuinely drove talkability and amazing photography, the latter for the pun and creative partnership. Very on brand.

As always, we’ve got a great DJ booked for The Pros Awards award ceremony in September – what’s your dance floor filler request?

Last year I went with Chesney Hawkes. This year I’m going with The Offspring – Pretty Fly for a White Guy.
