q&a

Why did you sign up to be a judge for The Pros Awards 2026?

Intersectionality is key when it comes to the true transformation of industries that side line minorities. As someone who knows what it’s like to live as a carer, a queer person, a disabled person and a person of the global majority whilst traversing this industry, I think it’s important for me to put myself forward for opportunities like this to see if I can make a difference.

What Insta/LinkedIn/Tik Tok account should every comms pro follow and why?

Zoe Scaman is someone who I have never regretted following – whether or not I agree with every take doesn’t matter because they always make me think, and interrogate my own beliefs.

What was your favourite PR/comms campaign from 2025 and why?

I liked the Here Be Dragons campaign that put a wax sculpture of a Greggs sausage roll in Madame Tussauds. It’s silly to say, but even a reminder as light hearted as this that the nation can rally around something ‘so British’ that isn’t related to race or exclusion is a balm in this current political landscape.

As always, we’ve got a great DJ booked for The Pros Awards award ceremony in September – what’s your dance floor filler request?

Ohhhh, might have to be “Padam Padam”. It’s a song by Kylie Minogue – rogue but it’s been getting me on the dance floor recently!
